Last weekend, the Defence Relationship Management team, along with senior members of the North of England Reserve Forces and Cadets Association, had the privilege of hosting a number of Defence-supportive employers and partner organisations from across the North of England at the King's Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour) at Horse Guards, London.

The event commenced on Friday evening with a Thames River cruise and dinner, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and strengthening relationships between Defence and industry.

On Saturday, we attended the spectacular Trooping the Colour ceremony, a truly iconic event showcasing the very best of British military tradition, precision and pageantry in celebration of His Majesty The King's Official Birthday.

Events such as these provide a valuable opportunity to strengthen the enduring relationship between Defence and the organisations that actively support our Armed Forces community through the Armed Forces Covenant and Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to what was an exceptionally well-executed and thoroughly enjoyable weekend. The positive feedback received throughout the event highlights the value of bringing together like-minded organisations in support of Defence and the Armed Forces community.
