First Dual Virtual Armed Forces Covenant Signing

While COVID-19 restrictions continue to shape the way we live and work safely, it also means coming up with inventive ways to circumvent it and on Wednesday 3 June 2020, the NE RFCA organised the very first dual, virtual Armed Forces Covenant signing by supportive employers from the North of England RFCA and Yorkshire and The Humber RFCA.

Representatives from the NE RFCA included:

Viztek Ltd –

Ozone Direct UK Ltd

Inclusion Football

The People Place HR Ltd

The North East Initiative on Business Ethics Ltd

These representatives gathered together (virtually) in the safety of their own homes – most definitely socially distancing – to show their support to the Armed Forces by signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant. Among other things, this much valued support ensures that no-one from the Armed Forces family is disadvantaged in any way.

Once the formal signings were over Col Nigel Rhodes, Deputy Commander 4th Infantry Brigade and HQ North East Brigade, provided a military perspective and thanked everyone for their support and how essential it was.

Following on from there, the chat rooms provided the opportunity for further very lively and informative discussions. A great way to continue with our business as usual, with everyone agreeing to the success of the occasion. Congratulations to all concerned.
