16 NORTH EAST EMPLOYERS have been awarded Gold for their support to the Armed Forces, the highest badge of honour available under the MOD’s Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award. They will be presented with their awards on 12 November 2019, at the National Army Museum in London.

Over the bank holiday 9 members of 103 (TEE) Fd Sqn raised funds for ABF The Soldiers' Charity. It is the National Charity of the British Army and provides financial and practical support to soldiers, veterans, and their immediate family in times of need, even after they have left the Army.
103 (TEE) Fd Sqn Fastest Team in International Bavarian Military Competition 2018
In late July a 3-man team from 103 (TEE) Fd Sqn, 71 Engineer Regiment, travelled to Lechfeld Air Base, Germany to take part in an International shooting competition comprising of 30 teams from all over the world.

Durham Army Cadet Sergeant Marc Hague, 17 from Sheild Row, Stanley has embarked on a voyage of remembrance, adventure and personal development to mark a century-old anniversary. In the splendour of Tower Bridge and the River Thames, Marc boarded the Tall Ship Lord Nelson and has set sail from London to Edinburgh on a ten-day voyage.

NO BREAK IN TRADITION FOR DURHAM ARMY CADETS On Sunday 8th July, Durham Army Cadet Force joined teams from all over the North East Region, to take part in 4th Infantry Brigade’s 2018 First Aid Championships, and Durham ACF took gold for the sixth successive year, a record unequalled by any other North East County.
