Honoured Guests, Partners and Officers of 101st (Northumbrian) Regiment Royal Artillery bade farewell to the outgoing Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Sean Grant, in the Regimental Officers Mess at RHQ in Gateshead. Colonel Grant leaves the Regiment this week for The DR Congo.

The evening was a splendid affair with the Cassino Band of Northumbria Army Cadet Force providing music throughout. During which they were joined by Colonel Grant on the trombone, he also took control and conducted the Blaydon Races.

The food on the evening was provide by the Regimental Catering Warrant Officer and his team and was fit for the occasion.

The Officers Mess thanks Colonel Sean for his outstanding leadership during his time with the Regiment, there is no doubt he leaves the Regiment in a good place, we wish him and his family all the very best for the future.
