City Hospitals Sunderland pledge support for Armed Forces
City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust has signed a special covenant that formally outlines how it pledges to support the armed forces and their families within the hospital and the local community.
Local Business Shows their Support for the Armed Forces
The Gainford Group became the first North East Asian Business to sign an Armed Forces Covenant. The Group's Director, Imran Khaliq, was joined by Military Commanders, North East MPs, Chi Omwurah and David Anderson, business leaders, local councillors and the Group's family owners Mohammed and Susan Kaliq, for the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant at the Northern Counties Club.
