On Thursday 29th June, cadets and guests enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the House of Lords to celebrate the 14th annual CVQO Duke of Westminster Award. Durham’s Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major Nancy McKenna was among the top 10 cadets in the 2017 award.
Local Air Cadet can take to the sky thanks to National Award
Cadet Sergeant Esmée Webley, an Air Cadet with 2522 (Bedlington) Squadron ATC, has won 35 hours of flying tuition worth £3,000, thanks to the Royal Air Forces Association.
